Gunturs – A Powerful Right with Barrels & Rippable Sections

Gunturs is one of the most consistent waves in the Banyak Islands, breaking just two minutes from the resort. This fast, hollow right-hander delivers two barreling sections with a rippable face, making it a dream wave for surfers who love both deep tubes and high-performance turns.

Depending on the swell and tide, Gunturs can serve up long, open barrels or steep, powerful walls, perfect for deep carves and high-speed maneuvers. Whether you're chasing tubes or looking to lay into some big turns, this wave delivers world-class conditions in a remote, tropical paradise.

Dindos – A Playful, Rippable Left Just Minutes Away

Just a short one to two minute boat ride from the resort, Dindos is one of the friendliest and most fun waves in the Banyak Islands. This long, playful left-hander offers multiple bashable sections, making it a paradise for surfers who love to link together smooth turns, snaps, and cutbacks.

With its forgiving nature and high-performance potential, Dindos is an ideal wave for intermediate surfers looking to progress while still offering plenty of fun for advanced riders. Whether you’re flowing through open-face carves or smashing lip sections, this wave is as rippable as they come.

Shortys – A Quick, Perfect Barrel When It’s On

Shortys is a hidden gem and one of our favorite waves in the Banyak Islands—but it’s a bit fickle. When the conditions line up, it’s all-time. Imagine taking off on a thigh-high wave, only to backdoor a head-high barrel before kicking out with a huge grin.

This short but incredibly fun right-hander is all about timing and precision, rewarding surfers with fast, punchy barrels in a compact setup. Just 10 minutes by boat, Shortys is the kind of wave where, when it’s on, we drop everything and go.

Camel Backs – A Heavy Slab for the Brave

When Camel Backs comes to life, it’s not for the faint of heart. This heavy, shallow slab serves up perfect, round barrels, but only when the conditions align. Sitting just around the corner from Gunturs, it’s a rare gem that demands commitment, skill, and the right mindset.

With its steep, slabbing takeoff and thick, pitching lip, this wave isn’t forgiving—but for those who charge, the reward is a perfect, empty barrel. Nine times out of ten, you’ll have it all to yourself.

Treasure Island – A Long, Barreling Right with Endless Tubes

Treasure Island is a world-class right-hander that can serve up rides lasting over a minute, with up to three barrel sections along the way. This long, hollow wave is a dream for surfers who love fast, open barrels and the chance to get deep multiple times on a single ride.

Located just under an hour by speedboat from the resort, Treasure Island is a true Indonesian surf treasure, offering some of the best, most mechanical barrels in the region when the conditions line up. Whether you're threading through multiple sections or linking turns between tubes, this wave delivers an unforgettable, high-performance ride.

Cobras – A Fun, Rippable Left That Turns Heavy When It’s On

Just 20 minutes from Treasure Island, Cobras is a barreling left-hander that offers something for everyone. On smaller swells, it’s a fun, rippable wave with open-faced sections perfect for carves and high-performance surfing. But when the right swell direction and size hit, Cobras transforms into a world-class barrel, delivering fast, hollow tubes for those ready to charge.

This wave is all about variety—whether you’re looking for a playful, maneuverable left or a technical, heavy barrel, Cobras delivers when the conditions align.
